We strive to foster friendships, promote inclusivity, and ensure that everyone feels valued, supported, and respected. Through positive experiences and shared activities, we aim to build a space where laughter, creativity, and lasting connections flourish.
Fairfield-Fairfield Crest Swim Club, a local community pool in Newark, Delaware, is a hidden gem tucked away in the Fairfield Crest neighborhood, surrounded by mature trees and lush greenery. Our pool offers a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with members from Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Our pool area features a spacious deck with lounge chairs, picnic tables, and our Turtle Shack snack bar.
Our pool is large enough to accommodate lap swimmers and casual splashers alike, starting at 3ft with a deeper end for more experienced swimmers. We also have a gated area with a shallow kiddie pool perfect for young children.
FFC Pool is located right next to 2 playgrounds, a large grassy area, tennis courts, and a basketball court. Unlike larger, more crowded pools, this spot maintains a relaxed atmosphere, making it a perfect retreat for those looking to unwind.
Our members are a welcoming and tight-knit community, hosting low-key events like barbecue potlucks, aqua exercise classes, and social events throughout the summer that add to our pool’s charm.
With competitively affordable membership fees and a strong sense of community, our pool remains a beloved spot for locals who value its charm and the friendships it fosters.

2024-2026Hi! I'm Allison, and my family has been part of FFC since the summer of 2015. The pool is a favorite part of our lives, especially during the summer! My husband, Michael, serves as Treasurer, and our daughters, Gabby (11) and Claire (7), love being part of the swim team and pool community. This is my second year as Social Co-Chair alongside Kris, and I’m excited to continue planning fun and engaging events to make FFC the best pool in Newark!

2024-2026Hi, my name is Sara! My family has been members since 2023, and this is my second year on the board handling fundraising, advertising, and sponsorships for our pool. My family lives in Fairfield Crest, and my daughters, Simone (11yo) and Cece (7yo), joined the swim team last year and loved it! At first, I was a little intimated by the length of the swim meets, but time flies by when you are hanging out with friends and cheering for the kids!
